The QC online

History

So what is this QC online thing? You know what? I am not entirely sure yet. I am a Town of Queen Creek resident that likes to talk about where I live and what I do. I use Twitter regularly using an iPhone. For some reason the iPhone always wants to change qc to ac. This was frustrating, so I started typing theqc as a replacement. I was really kind of making fun of the tv show The OC.

However, I started noticing other people on Twitter calling Queen Creek “theqc” and my friends not living in Queen Creek started teasing me about living in “theqc”. Having lived in Gilbert for some time during its pinnacle, I rather liked its small town feel and lifestyle. When the town council there started to get out of control, I decided it was time to move. We moved to Queen Creek and like the community as quirky as it may be.

I figured it would be fun to blog about what is going on in the community now known as “theqc”. Let people know what is happening and highlight interesting things. The hope is to get a local dialog started. Hopefully there will be people other than me eventually posting content here. Who knows. We will have to see where it goes.
